ABOUT THIS ROLE
As the Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Lead for the Audible Fraud Defense team, you will pilot the data analytics and insights function and report to the head of the Audible Fraud Defense program. In this role, you will be responsible for providing the data-driven decision support and insights that are critical to the team's mission of detecting, preventing, and mitigating fraud across Audible's creator and customer ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with partners and key stakeholders across Audible and Amazon to protect Audible's integrity and trustworthiness for creators, producers, and customers. As the subject matter expert, you will work to safeguard Audible's reputation and ensure a secure environment for all stakeholders involved.ABOUT YOU
As a Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Lead, you will..
- Partner closely with the Fraud Defense team's Applied Scientist to establish the data pipelines, modeling, and analytical capabilities required to fuel the development and continuous improvement of the team's machine learning-powered fraud detection and monitoring initiatives. This will involve ensuring the availability of high-quality, well-structured data
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses to track key fraud metrics, identify emerging trends and patterns, and surface high-risk accounts and activities for further investigation. You will work cross-functionally to understand the team's evolving data and reporting needs- Leverage advanced data analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and anomaly detection, to uncover hidden insights and proactively identify potential fraud risks before they materialize. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to translate these insights into actionable strategies for fraud prevention and mitigation
ABOUT AUDIBLE
- 6+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related quantitative field
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Experience in data modeling, reporting, and dashboard development, with proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
- Experience leveraging advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and simulations, to uncover insights and inform strategic decision-making
- Experience in partnering with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively tailor insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and deliver results under tight deadlines
