What you will do:

• A product owner’s ultimate mission is to build a product that’s valuable for our customers and partners, that’s delightful to use and that’s viable for our business, in line with SAP Signavio’s product vision and product and engineering strategy.
• Understand and share our overall product vision and strategy with the team and ensure alignment and sense-making.
• Work with principal product owners, product managers and other relevant stakeholders to identify the next opportunities and problem spaces to focus on, break them down together and define deliverables.
• Be the fundamental pillar of an empowered product team together with the tech lead and the designers for both discovery and delivery.
• Support the empowered product team in discovery initiatives, define metrics and success criteria to maximize value delivered.
• Own and manage the product backlog for your product area, at all levels of granularity, prioritize it by understanding customers’ and internal stakeholders’ issues, pain points and needs.
• Be a sparring partner of the internal and external stakeholders such as people leads, product managers and tech leads.

Would be great if you have:

• Relevant experience of working as a product owner or product manager within agile software development teams and proven goal-oriented mindset.
• Strong experience in applying B2B software product ownership and product management practices would be a plus, preferably: working on projects throughout full lifecycle, from conception, discovery through delivery and successful market release.
• Thorough ability to drive cross-team and cross-product initiatives, identify interdependencies and ensure coordinated delivery.
• Analytical skills, structured and data-driven working approach.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, including an excellent ability in clear communication, negotiating and managing expectations on timelines and scope.
• Basic understanding and passion of any of the following: business intelligence, data analytics, business processes, process mining, process intelligence
• Hands on experience with programming languages such as Python or query languages such as SQL.
• At least 5+ years of comparable experience in such a role
