With 6-8 years of experience, you will lead the optimization of cloud infrastructure on platforms like Azure and AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include assessing existing infrastructure, implementing optimization strategies, and staying updated with industry trends. Strong analytical skills, expertise in Azure/AWS, and a proactive approach to optimization are key attributes for success in this role.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure and AWS platforms.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing cloud infrastructure to identify areas for optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for cloud resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for cloud governance, security, and compliance.
• Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency.
• Automate routine tasks and workflows using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on cloud infrastructure optimization best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud infrastructure optimization.

Soft Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and managing cloud infrastructure, with expertise in Azure and AWS.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure optimization, with expertise in Azure and AWS.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and development are essential for success in this role.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in implementing cost optimization strategies, resource tagging, and budget management in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-native services, containerization, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent, are desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering complex cloud optimization projects with measurable outcomes.
