Lead the cascade of Teva’s global strategies to Kfar Saba Site and develop and lead the execution of the Site Mission and Master Plan
Lead the achievement of Performance Objectives in the areas of Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability, Quality & Compliance, Customer Supply, and financial performance
Lead the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and New Product Launches annually
Engage, enable and develop the KFS workforce of ~900 colleagues, ensuring that the required leadership, technical and operational capabilities are in place to deliver the Kfar Saba Mission and Site Master Plan.
Ensure site competitiveness by continuously improving processes using Teva’s Operational Excellence (OPEX) Operating Processes, Leadership System and Mind-sets and Behaviours
Represent TEVA to local (and country) authorities and community leaders.
Knowledge:
Understanding of the relevant science and pharmaceutical processes at the site.
Knowledge and understanding of process, technology, quality issues etc.
Understanding of all disciplines represented on the site leadership team.
Advanced knowledge and demonstrated track record in Operational Excellence
Cross-functional understanding in multiple related disciplines (quality & supply chain as core, others important but not required).
Advanced knowledge of cGMP, Validation, and local / Global regulations.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including market trends, dynamics, and competitive intelligence
Understanding of environment, health and safety (EHS) as it relates to the site.
Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle as well as knowledge and/or experience in product and tech transfer.
Relevant Experience:
Previous experience as a general manager of an operational site is a must
Basic understanding of the Teva portfolio and practical experience in the relevant technologies required (Oral Solid Dosage, Steriles, Biologics Drug Products, Dug Device Combination products)
Experience working in a regulated production facility (production and/or packaging) required.
Advanced experience in regulatory inspections, investigations and discussions/interactions with regulatory bodies required
Comprehensive experience working in multiple plants, within different regions and with different technologies, if possible
Expert level knowledge and experience with OPEX behaviors, principles and tools required, with a demonstrated successful OPEX transformational leadership
Excellent problem solver and ability to generate innovative solutions to broad range of issues; sees bigger picture and looks to the longer term
Outstanding people leadership and track record of people capability-building
Demonstrated track record of transformational change leadership
Superb communication skills and ability to influence across the broadest of constituencies
