Export Control Requirement:
A day in the life* Design, development, deployment, and support of a tier 1 Monitoring and Remediation System (MARS) needed to maintain high availability of hundreds of ground terminals deployed around the world.
* Ground systems integration/test (I&T) automation
* Ground terminal configuration, provisioning, and acceptance automation
* Systems analysis
* Algorithm development (pointing/tracking/calibration/monitoring)
* Software interface definition for supplier-provided hardware and development of software test automation
* Definition of use cases/requirements needed to drive ground modem software development
- Master's degree
- 6+ years of building models for top-tier business applications or strong academic records
- PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of computer science, statistical modeling, machine learning, or related field experience
- Excellent probability and statistics core
- Experience in stochastic processes, Bayesian inference, and sampling methods (e.g. Monte Carlo Markov Chain)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python, C/C++, Java, Rust or related language
- Experience in calibration and anomaly detection
- Experience in hardware projects
- Good knowledge of neural methods
- Experience in cloud application development
- Strong algorithms and data structures skills
- Expert science/data science development experience in Python
