PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
- Develop industry leading creative solutions for the Football Culture and Hype apparel team , to create a highly relevant, desirable and clear adidas brand image
- With a strong knowledge of football culture aesthetics and terrace culture, you will be responsible for shaping the visual/graphical direction of the adidas Football Culture and Hype team
- Driving unexpected and innovative collaborations for the football design team
- As a manager of 2-3 people, you will lead the graphic direction of the team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the Creative development for concepts across multiple consumer touchpoints and brand focus
- Develop concepts and creative strategies that fulfil objectives of category, concept and briefs
- Collaborate with Product Design team to ensure holistic storytelling
- Cross-functional collaboration with team members
- Lead the execution of creative strategies to ensure end to end creative excellence
- Direct variety of creative resources
- Review and approve production stages of creative execution
- Maximise results within given budget and timeframes
- Participate in creation of annual and long-term Creative Direction strategies
- Present and communicate creative solutions with clarity, effectively selling in ideas to variety of stakeholders
- Identify opportunities of improvement and change, and initiate own proposals/projects
- Seek out new Design resources that can deliver world class results
- Creating technical drawings and schematics in 3D & 2D, digital product information for an accurate development and decision-making process

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Design apps: expert with Illustrator, Photoshop
- Typography
- Illustration
- Strong visual and verbal skills with the ability to create impactful/exciting visuals
- 3D skills and knowledge of virtual tools are required
APP tools: Clo3D, Browzwear, VStitcher or similar 3D fashion design tools
- Strong English language skills
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Under-graduate level Design education or combination thereof
- At least 6-8 years experience in Sporting Goods/Fashion Industry or Design on managerial level
- Proven experience with the entire design process (project scope and time planning, design steps, production/execution of design solution, pre-press processes)
- Passion for sports, culture, design, sub-cultures
- Strong knowledge of football culture aesthetics and terrace culture
