This role will be the driving force behind the conception and delivery of on-air graphics for all Live Sports Productions, working closely with producers and production leads while managing and coordinating workflows between internal and external partners. This role will also work closely with a Creative Services lead for Marketing and On-Air Promotions. The Head of Creative Services, Production will focus on the on-air implementation, constructing our own Graphics pipeline, ultimately building an industry leading standard Graphics department to service the needs of our entire portfolio.The desire and ability learn and be curious, staying on the cutting edge of graphic design trends and technology specific to that field will be of the utmost importance. You will need to be ready to be uncomfortable and working on projects that be may foreign to some of your industry peers. Overall sports knowledge and understanding of each properties graphics needs and nuances will also be crucial to success.
Key job responsibilities
• Providing creative direction and guidance to a team of designers, editors, and other creative professionals, ensuring that their work aligns with the Prime Video’s overall vision and goals.
• Ensuring that Prime Video’s visual identity remains consistent across all platforms, including on-air graphics, logos, and promotional materials.
• Collaborating with both internal and external partners such as advertisers, sponsors, and sports leagues to help in the creation of content and sponsorship opportunities.
• Overseeing the budget for creative projects and ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
• Conducting market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in sports broadcasting.
• Ability to coordinate and track high volume of work through an end-to-end workflow
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, can clearly articulate and document technical processes and workflows
• Adaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities, tools, workflow and technology
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products

• Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
- 6+ years of producer, production manager or line producer experience
- 7+ years of production executives management experience
- 6+ years of budgeting, scheduling and cost reporting experience
- Knowledge of cutting-edge production technologies and delivery workflows
- Experience with above-the-line and below-the-line unions and guilds
- 5+ years of big-budget films and or/series for premium cable or streaming experience
- Experience in all forms of unscripted television (e.g., competition, docu-follow, shiny floor, lifestyle, sports) across all budget levels
