In this role, you will sit with the ALX SIERRA's engineering organization, and work with Data Engineers, Software developer engineers, UX designers, business intelligence engineers and data scientists. You will be responsible to design and build data products and services at scale to have a significant impact on 1.5 million Amazonians and the communities Amazon serves.Key job responsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support a platform providing secured access to large datasets.Architect , develop and maintain end to end scalable data infrastructure and data pipelines.Designing and implementing complex ETL pipelines and other BI solutions.Keep up to date with advances in big data technologies and run pilots to design the data architecture to scale with the increased data volume using AWS.

- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with one or more query language (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
- Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g., Python, KornShell)

- Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
- Experience with any ETL tool like, Informatica, ODI, SSIS, BODI, Datastage, etc.
