What are my responsibilities?

  • Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations, and legal precedents to support decision-making.
  • Monitor the official gazette to inform the legal team of critical updates and developments.
  • Validate legal documents and official correspondences to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Organize and maintain the legal department’s hard and soft copy files for easy accessibility.
  • Follow up with notary public processes, including issuing and archiving power of attorney documents.
  • Support administrative tasks by using billing software/internal systems to process invoices and legal department expenses.
  • Review contracts under the guidance of a legal counsel or contract manager, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Enrollment as a third-year undergraduate law student.
  • Availability to work 2-3 days per week in Istanbul or remotely.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Independence, responsibility, and a proactive approach to tackling challenges and driving change.
