You will be responsible for setting the direction and providing team oversight for the following team deliverables:- Influencing AWS’ design and specification requirements to meet our business needs for AWS colocation products.
- Investigating and documenting root-cause failure analysis associated with infrastructure and equipment failures.
- Working with local agencies having jurisdiction to ensure compliance with federal, state and municipal requirements and codes.
- Travel to Data Center sites as required - International & Domestic (up to 50%)Amazon values diverse experiences. - Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related discipline, or 10 years commensurate industry or military experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years experience of focused engineering team management experience for teams conducting Data Center or Carrier-class Telecommunications design, engineering, and/or operations and maintenance (O&M) of data center critical environment infrastructure.
- Business level English language skills

• Master’s degree in engineering or MBA
• 10+ years cumulative engineering design management experience
• PE or EIT
• Prior project management experience; PMP, PMI
