Job Description

As the Global IT Budget & Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial planning, budgeting, procurement and cost management within our dynamic and globally distributed IT department. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to execute strategic initiatives, optimize spending, and ensure financial sustainability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the IT budget, considering operational costs, capital expenditures, and strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with IT leaders, project managers, and stakeholders to allocate resources effectively.
  • Analyze historical data and trends to forecast future expenses accurately.
  • Provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Regularly report on budget performance, variances, and key financial metrics.
  • Present findings to executive leadership and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Assess financial risks related to IT initiatives.
  • Implement mitigation strategies to ensure financial stability.
  • Lead and manage all phases of the procurement process) P2P(, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Act as the central point of contact for all procurement requirements.
  • Ensure alignment of procurement decisions with the established budget
  • Develop and maintain relevant KPIs to track budget performance.
  • Monitor metrics such as budget utilization, cost efficiency, and adherence to financial targets
  • Work closely with IT Project Management Offices (PMOs) and IT leaders to align budgetary needs with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure compliance and transparency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in budget management and IT procurement.
  • Familiarity with IT operations, Applications, infrastructure, and project lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
