As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to improve supplier performance, ensure supply chain continuity, work with production returns, non-conforming materials, and consignment activity. You will be responsible for working with a team of supply chain professionals, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and managing business objectives. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive change across the organization. You will report directly to the OPEX Director and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ Engines location. In this role, you will impact the aerospace industry by implementing supplier/site performance improvements through strategic initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute strategies to drive down Production return backlog for customers and provide updates based on results driven actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and align strategies to help reduce/remove stagnant product in non-conforming locations
• Work with suppliers on shop overload products and work delivery dates and expedite request
• Maintain consignment accuracy for product processed through Logistics activities
• Work differences found in virtual inventory and develop strategic strategies to limit recurrence

• 2+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement or Supply Chain experience
• High School Diploma

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• Experience in the aerospace industry
• Knowledge of best practices in procurement and supply chain management specific to the aerospace industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience with supplier relationship management and supplier development
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence
• Proven track record of driving supplier performance improvement
• Excellent supplier relationship management skills
• Six sigma/Lean application experience
