As a Banking Regulatory Report Senior Associate in the Regulatory Reporting Operations team, you will be responsible for playing a vital role in overseeing the regulatory reporting processes across various functions within our centralized reporting team. You will act as a checker and supervisor, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all reports, and assist the Centralized Reporting Team Lead when needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as a checker for reporting processes, reviewing reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data for reporting.
  • Analyze regulatory requirements to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Maintain knowledge of changes in regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Assist in developing processes to improve reporting efficiency.
  • Provide technical support on the use of reporting systems and tools.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and respond to inquiries.
  • Conduct audits of reporting processes to ensure compliance.
  • Utilize automation tools to streamline reporting processes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with automation tools, including End User Computing tools, Alteryx, and SQL, is preferable.
  • Technical knowledge of local regulatory reporting systems is preferable.
  • Experience with specific regulatory reporting software/system.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with specific regulations relevant to the location.
