Key Responsibilities:

  • First-shift position working within the department of Quality.
  • Performs repairs on printed circuit boards and subassemblies, using precision soldering techniques to include surface mount.
  • Manages the movement of inventory through the group, using SAP, Production Control Software.
  • Acts as department calibration coordinator, responsible for scheduling and maintaining compliance with relevant procedures for an array of measurement equipment.
  • Performs detailed electronic testing and troubleshooting functions associated with evaluation and qualification ofsupplier-manufacturedcomponents, printed circuit boards, and subassemblies.
  • Assists in the development of test methods and procedures used to qualify products.
  • Works with engineers and supplier personnel to improve the quality of products delivered.
  • Performs test equipment set-up and calibration tasks.
  • Observes all safety standards and maintains a safe, clean, and healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Electronics or related field and/or at least five years of related industry experience.
  • Proficiency with soldering techniques.
  • SAP experience within a production environment.
  • Strong computer and technical skills.
