As a manager on the IBM Data and AI portfolio, you will be leading and motivating a talent team of professionals in a fast-paced environment developing the next generation of AI-infused platform features using the latest Saas and microservices architecture. You will be also leading operational and engineering iniatives across the lab and create a platform for our engineers to technically influence the customer and the market around us
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with multiple cloud services, including IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong technical and management hands on experience. 8+ yeares of management experience leading engineering teams
- Experience working with CI/CD processes, DevOps methodologies and tools such as git, Jenkins, Travis.
- Excellent people skills, including negotiating, recruiting, motivating, and team building
- Growth-mindset: Willingness to learn new technologies and processes
- Highly organized and able to balance multiple priorities
- Dedication to transparency: ability to report issues and risks and find solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with remote office locations.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Degree in Computer Science, , Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Working experience on Docker/Kubernetes, the DevOps, Micro services, RedHat OpenShift, Java J2EE
- Willing to lead and work on quick proof of concepts.
