Key Responsibility

[Compensation & Benefits]

  • Evaluate present programs through research, surveys, and analysis of compensation and benefit trends and/or vendor management to evaluate competitive position as it relates to the company's strategy.
  • Use job evaluation process to determine job requirements and prepare market data analysis to determine compensation program assignment (pay structures, variable pay, equity).
  • Advise, educate and coach people leaders and employees on compensation and benefit programs and systems.
  • Represent Total Rewards and/or serve as project manager on specified initiatives.
  • Review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation and benefit administration and recommend appropriate course of action.
  • Responsible for health and welfare programs, sales compensation, executive compensation and benefits, base pay and incentive plan administration.
  • Provide guidance and direction to client group(s) to ensure consistent, equal and fair treatment of all employees. Consult with managers to ensure the consistent application of and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to address and satisfy client group(s) requirements.
  • Prepare personnel costs for budgeting and analyze compensation and benefits spend versus plan.

[HR Operations]

  • Work independently and apply advanced payroll principles and knowledge to ensure standard operating procedures are followed, compliance to all local legal requirements relating to payroll, designs and implements payroll audit processes and methodology, focal contact with outsource provider, and manage payroll efficiency and accuracy initiatives.
  • Primary responsibilities for pay results validation and confirmation using applied audit principles and designed controls.
  • Ensure all site staff are paid on time, correctly, in full and in compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Perform various plan administrative audits, and assist with data for internal and external audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with Statutory and Company legislation/policy.
  • Coordinate local payroll, benefits, taxation of global mobility employees(Expat/Inpat) with Global Mobility CoE, TR CoE and the employee(s).
  • Develop, manage and implement continued process improvement initiatives, standardization, and efficiency goals in collaboration with outsource partner for payroll and benefits.
  • Evaluate present HR systems, process through research, survey and analysis of trends and/or vendor management to enhance effectiveness and productivity.
  • Provide guidance, direction to and partner with HRSC to support and manage HR related inquires from client group(s).
  • Responds to and resolves a variety of escalated HR Operations issues including as payroll, compensation, and benefits.
  • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.

Requirement / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of Compensation, Benefits and payroll operations and total 10+ years experience in MNC’s HR department
  • Good written and verbal communication both in English and Korean
  • Proficiency and experience working with MS-office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams
  • Proven track record of HR Project experiences: HRIS, Compensation & Benefits improvement, HR Process/Operation enhancement, etc.
  • Knowledge in Korea Labor Law & regulations
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills

  • Experiences in Healthcare industry preferred.
