Key responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to further enhance the ETF platform

  • Take ownership of the platform developments and be accountable for its success

  • Ensuring completeness and signoff of BRD/FRD/and Test plans for tech builds

  • Ensure completeness of operational testing and rollout of new features

  • Work with operations and technology to develop a global operating model

  • Create and promote the use of standardized processes across regions

  • Help develop Level 1,2,3 support to accommodate 24x7 work cycle

  • Ensure operations has proper handoffs of responsibilities built into their workflows

  • Assist in definition of roles and responsibilities to be done in local jurisdictions

  • Stay abreast of local and regulatory requirements within the ETF servicing sector

  • A subject matter expert (SME) on ETFs and industry related topics.

  • Partner with Product Development and Operations on implementation planning, process changes, process improvements

  • Partner with business analysts on strategic and tactical projects including business requirements, project management, coordination and escalation, and quality assurance testing review.

  • Responsible for the maintenance of policies, system documentation and procedures, maintaining and enhancing controls, interacting with internal audit and product risk, and mitigating risks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Custody and Funds with an emphasis on ETFs preferred.

  • Previous experience in project management /certification (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) is a plus

  • Be able to critically analyze processes to identify issues, root causes and corrective actions

  • A delivery-focused approach with a high level of attention to detail

  • Tenacity – must have demonstrable ability to overcome ambiguity and obstacles

  • Able to absorb new information quickly and understand different business areas and technologies

  • Able to successfully multi-task across tactical and strategic initiatives

  • Innovative and creative thinker and problem solver; able to generate new ideas; forward-thinker

  • Knowledge of and experience with ETFs and industry related topics

  • Experience managing strategic initiatives and experience in any traditional investment products

  • Strong judgment in prioritizing, evaluating and sharing information as appropriate, and determining issues requiring escalation

  • Ability to work independently, often on multiple assignments concurrently, while adhering to deadlines and the group’s standards

  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative and team skills including ability to work with third parties and key stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Experience in accounting or related field.

  • Previous supervisory experience a plus

  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

  • Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related area.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio

  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize and escalate appropriately

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
