Your day to day:

• Act as a coach and manager for a team of 6-10 engineers, helping them succeed and grow in their roles.

• Actively collaborate with other engineeringmanagersin buildinga strong engineering culture.

• Take responsibility for delivery, quality, architecture, compliance, and the business success of your teams’ products.

• Define goals, OKRs, KPIs, SLAs and drive continuous improvements in velocity, quality, and issue management.

• Participate inestablishingand improving a strong engineering culture, including hiring, performance assessments, career development, inclusion & diversity, and technical and operational excellence.

What do you need to bring:

• Proven experience as a team engineering manager

• Hands-on experience as a software developer, ideally in Java or JavaScript, with experience across multiple layers of the application stack

• Willingness to step in hands-on if necessary

• Advanced knowledge in software architecture from at least one of: mobile app development, web applications and/or Node or Java backends

• Experience in software lifecycle including release planning, time estimates, release processes, software testing, incident- and issue management,monitoring& alerting and related.

• Experiencein Agiledevelopment (and agile frameworks like Scrum andKanban) and commonly used tools likeJiraand GitHub.
