As a Technology Specialist, you will be a technical solution expert in public cloud area. Specifically, you will lead strategic technical customer engagements that will require you to deliver architectural design sessions, Proof of concept (PoC), and technical advising on best-practices for Enterprise customers. You will collaborate with a virtual team to advance the decision process and increase the adoption of the Azure services within your customers.

· 10+ years technology-related sales


Additional or Preferred Qualifications

· Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.

  1. Build Intelligent apps + AI
  • Own technical discussions- Drive the technical decision and accelerateuncommit-to-commitpipeline;apply sales methodologies and use technical expertise toinfluence customer vision
  • Builds technical strategyby mapping vision,anticipating andremoving blockers, validating business case, translate technical complexity into business outcome
  • Win technical decisionsin associated solution plays for Azureby designing solution through architectural approach and consultancyin Inspire & Design and Empower& Achieve stages; present and apply architecture patterns, and leverage “reference architecture” to drive customer outcomes and drive cross-workload support
  • Build knowledge of competitive landscapeand market/industry trends
  • Engage with partners early on co-sell opportunities,accelerate projects to consumption by planning and executing withco-sell prioritized partners
  • Orchestrate cross solution area technical resourcesacross account teams, partners and customers


Key activities:

  • Engage in pre-commit sales & technical activitiesto help win tech decision, prove solutionand ensure architectural integrity/quality(via Solution focusedpresentations and demos, high level whiteboarding and architectural design sessions)
  • Prove business value with POCs/pilot,prove customer ability to execute with Architecture design focused briefings and workshops
    Initiate post sales planning in collaboration with CSUand attach appropriate deployment resourcesfrom Partners and/or Services
  • Expand customers vision for adjacent workloads
  • Align Partner solutions with Industry and/or line of business use cases.
    Lead use case ideation and expansion withCloud Scale Analytics and build intelligent apps with AI
  • Build intelligent apps with Cosmos DB and Open AI/AI and modernization of big databases to Azure Cosmos DB
  • Identify opportunities with existing customer contacts in collaboration with specialist, and support opportunity qualification from technical standpoint
    Identify opportunities with existing customer contacts for upsell and coach / inform specialist and account team on potential pipeline
    Leverage cross solution area programs and offers to accelerate sales
