Your key responsibilities
Assisting in management of the Partnership Operations Team
Oversee full cycle mid-month and review all aspects of all monthly and year end processes including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations
Manage and assist in the development and maintenance of accounting and Partnership files and records
Review, recommend and implement internal controls for improvements and/or efficiencies
Respond to accounting requests and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
Manage and comply with provincial and federal government reporting requirements and related tax filings
Support the Executives in special projects for both internal and external stakeholders, including forecasting and modeling of pro forma and historical data and reporting

- Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with Director, colleagues and direct reports
- Provides excellent leadership to direct reports (e.g., differentiates top performers, fosters teamwork)
To qualify for the role you must have
- Professional accounting designation, CPA
- Possess a minimum of five years’ relevant financial experience in similar roles
- Strong organization and prioritization skills, attention to detail, with high level of accuracy
- Effective time management skills and flexibility to work with changing priorities, ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
- Must have strong computer literacy with highly advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, especially with Excel and Access would be considered a strong asset
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, proficient at building relationships with multiple levels of stakeholders, both external and internal
- Partnership, personal and corporate tax knowledge and experience with preparation would be considered a strong asset
- Comply with all confidentiality policies of the Firm and applicable regulatory authorities
