Role Type- System Engineer (Monitoring , Incident Triage, Event Mgmt. and SoP based troubleshooting)

As an analyst, you will be responsible for Cloud Infra & Application monitoring, your primary focus will be on ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of critical systems and applications.
In this role, you will directly collaborate with Cloud Infra, DevOps team and App maintenance teams leveraging your technical expertise to understand the intricacies of the application and their underlying infrastructure. Your daily tasks will involve monitoring infra & application performance metrics, analyzing logs, and responding to alerts and incidents in real-time. Working closely with the L2/L3 teams team, you’ll troubleshoot issues, implement necessary fixes or configurations, and ensure that applications meet performance targets and service level agreements (SLAs).You will also be responsible for updating SoP and runbooks based on the issues you have encountered.

Additionally, you will:

• Performing system health checks on live production environments and sharing recommendations.
• Performing deployments on client production environments.
• Working closely with L2/L3 teams to fix the issues by sharing the monitoring logs.
• Ready to work part of 24/7 rotational shift environment.

Desired Experience:

• Min. 4 to 6 yrs. With basic understanding of cloud Infra and Apps environment.
• Basic understanding of devops processes and any language/tool used.
• Basic understanding of ITSM processes including SLA’s.

Desired Skillset:

• Good knowledge of any cloud (AWS, Azure) and Win or Linux OS.
• Ability to respond, troubleshoot and resolve Cloud Infra, Application-level issues/alerts.
• knowledge of monitoring tools like Cloud Native (Azure Monitor, Cloud Watch) or any 3rd party tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana etc.
• Good knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Git, etc.
• Hands-on Experience with Python or bash scripting will be an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and facilitate discussions with all levels of management.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas as required.
