Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1 + year (s) of experience in supply chain or procurement business process knowledge.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficient problem solving, troubleshooting skills along with sound judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in working on large scale global enterprise implementations.
  • Proficient understanding of the Agile software development process and software life cycle methodology.
  • Metrics and data focused.
  • Passion for solving customer problems.

Responsibilities

A Product Manager 2is accountable for capturing customer pain points, problem statements, business requirements, prioritizing the requirements, ensuring the solutions are delivered as per requirements, and aligned to the technology roadmaps, which support the business roadmaps and future business scenarios.

The
Product Manager 2will need to quickly establish the trust and confidence of our business partners by developing/demonstrating:

  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft’s procurement system landscape and business processes.
  • Addressing the customer pain points and leveraging the opportunities to improve systems and processes.
  • Data-driven decisions through capturing business impact and deliver the right outcomes to the business.
  • Cooperative relationships with key business users to deliver reliable, supportable business solutions.
  • Ability to learn and adopt relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processes from Microsoft and industry.
  • The ability for problem-solving, technical innovation, and attention to detail.
