As an AWS OpenSearch engineer you will: - Design, develop, and support a world-class OpenSearch platform that manages thousands of search domains.Contribute to both open source code and managed service platform.Focus on scalability, performance, service robustness, and cost trade-offs. (Especially as they pertain to a highly-virtualised, elastic, cloud-based environment).
Apply scientific analysis and mathematical modelling techniques to predict, measure, and evaluate the consequences of designs and the ongoing success of our platform.About the team

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
