In this role, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to define hardware architecture and drive execution of future products. The position requires the ability to mentor senior and junior partner engineers through detailed design work, while also keeping in focus a high level product and system understanding. In this position, you will:
  • BS or MS in electrical or computer engineering or similar field.
  • 5+ years experience developing high volume consumer products from concept to production as a system integrator.
  • Demonstrate strong EE fundamentals and engineering curiosity with an ability to mentor other engineers.
  • Knowledge of embedded processor peripheral interfaces (PCIe, USB, I2C, CAN, SPI, storage, high speed serial)
  • Strong working knowledge of best practices for PCB/flex layout and construction
  • Hands on experience with test equipment including oscilloscope, multi-meters and more for prototype bring-up, debugging and functional validation
  • ODM/JDM development or engineering consulting experience
  • Ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and exert effective influence
  • Expertise in board schematic and layout CAD tools such as Allegro, PADS or Altium.
  • Deep understanding of camera product definition and architecture development, spanning lens and image sensor selection, image processing pipeline and SoC selection, recording and wireless streaming architectures and acoustic design.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity, simulation, RF design for NFC, BT, BTLE, 802.15.4 and WLAN.
  • Expertise in emerging sensing technologies and sensor design highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of battery cell and pack design and development.
