The role reports into the Citigold and Citigold Private Client (CG + CPC) Lead Finance Officer to support the financial performance aspects of the U.S. business and products. This role supports and acts as a trusted advisor to the business senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all financial management aspects of the business in the U.S. across all products (banking, investments and lending)
  • Create financial reports and meet with finance team to clearly summarize financial trends and provide insight to senior management
  • Provide business and finance leadership with an understanding of monthly drivers and performance and the implications on forward looking forecasts; conduct what-if analysis under various scenarios
  • Advise on directional strategy and provide guidance on significant business/product decisions
  • Execute analysis of annual 3-year Strategic/Operating Plans, quarterly capital planning and annual CCAR PPNR forecasts, and periodic outlooks in partnership with the business and other finance teams
  • Partner with business, finance partners on the development of converged capital planning and business planning forecasting models and approaches, incorporating key quantitative and qualitative drivers
  • Prepare analytics in support of business reviews, including corporate and business initiatives
  • Understand Citi’s competitive positioning with respect to deposit balances and pricing, and support the analysis to influence outcomes to ensure firmwide objectives are achieved
  • Conduct analysis on the CG+CPC products cost attribution, profitability and multiple product relationship value
  • The role will also work closely with finance partners across Private Bank, Wealth at Work and Citigold/CPC to drive consistency and best practices around key planning and analysis activities and processes
  • Execute analysis of business and product profitability and provide guidance on significant business and product decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and senior management to influence behavior and decision making
  • Operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated presentation skills and consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • An analytical & questioning mindset, ability to innovate & relate data to business insights
  • Accuracy, attention to detail
  • Organizational and project management skills, ability to prioritize across multiple deliverables
  • Ability to interact confidently with senior business leaders

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
