The ideal candidate must be hands-on, technically strong and will be expected to provide technical direction for the team. The responsibilities will include:*Leading a team of high-performing engineers in an innovative and dynamic environment*Driving all aspects of technical development, from gathering requirements to successfully delivering features*Collaborating effectively with multiple teams and building consensus*Mentoring team members to achieve their best potential
- 5+ years of experience in developing production software (C, C++ or Obj C)
- 3+ years of management experience
- Proactive and self motivated with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
- Strong technical leadership and ability to inspire team members
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and managers across technical domains
- Strong system level understanding
- Strong foundation in software design and architecture
