Key job responsibilities
• Write and Execute SQL queries to analyze data and support operational investigations
• Create and maintain standard reports using existing templates and dashboards
• Use Amazon QuickSight to monitor established operational metrics and respond to alerts
• Support the maintenance of existing automated reporting solutions
• Conduct basic root cause analysis on operational issues using established frameworks
• Execute and maintain existing ETL processes
• Use existing Python scripts to process data and run standard analytical workflows
• Work with team members to understand and implement business requirements
• Use established AWS solutions to support operational processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues using existing documentation
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge bases
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within your assigned area
• Learn from senior team members and begin developing expertise in specific focus areas
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations with team support
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related quantitative field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in technical support, data engineering, business analytics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience working with and extracting data from relational databases (SQL)
- 1+ years of experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Basic experience with scripting languages (Python)
- Familiarity with agile/scrum or similar collaborative workflows
