If this is you, you’ll be working with the Post-Production team, editing and finishing e-commerce product videos, short-form digital, social content, and brand sizzles. As the Editor, you will assist the Senior editor in reviewing all workstreams, refining and improving workflows to continually improve the studio’s offering . From production through post, you’ll be encouraged to effectively communicate project requirements & coordinate assets between internal partners, vendors and studio teams. Additionally, you’ll be asked to assist in identifying solutions to achieve business objectives, maintain post-production tracking & delivery systems, and ensure all deliverables meet specified quality standards.

Under the mentorship of the Video Manager and Post-Production Director with day to day guidance from the Senior Editor, you will assist as part of a liaison team between internal & external Video Editors, Assistant Editors, Colorists, Motion Graphic Artists, and out-of-house Post-Production Partners for standard production. You will support the Senior Editor and Video Manager in the day to day smooth running of the department. You will collaborate with studio functions including Pre-Production, Production, Creative, Equipment, Editorial Retouching, Product Detail Page Retouching, and Quality Assurance & Asset Management teams as projects require.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

  • 3+ years relevant experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects.
  • Strong understanding of time remapping, time interpolation, speed ramps, and slow motion.
  • Knowledge of color grading, footage relinking, chroma-keying, audio mixing, media encoding.
  • Support team members and with a willingness to always drive projects forward, to win as a team
  • Able to provide constructive oversight and exchange feedback with a close-knit team.
  • Very organized, creative, and dedicated to creating best-in-class product videos.
  • Proficiency in remote workflow tools (Frame.io, Airtable, Slack, Zoom, Box.com)
  • Proficiency in codecs, color pipeline and management
  • Experience creating emotionally compelling narrative video, a plus.
  • Experience in motion graphics animation and motion design, a plus.
  • Deep understanding and enthusiasm for the brand with the aim to excel at the kind of storytelling that resonates emotionally with the Nike customer.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is preferred
