By joining this desk, you will be responsible for assisting the trading business across Equity swaps, repos, stock loan, FX swaps and Interest Rate swaps.
What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:
Booking trades into Front Office trade capture systems and monitoring
The timely receipt and booking of customer sub-account allocations on trade date.
Trade booking / confirmation exceptions on trade date including dealing with any disputes and resolutions.
The Electronic Trade Confirmation process (Oasys Global / CTM) with a focus to resolve all issues on trade date.
Performance trends and work with other Teams and Departments to identify solutions for process improvement.

Ensuring that any risk issues are identified, prioritised, managed and escalated appropriately.
Internal liaison with Sales Traders in the UK and Europe; Operations and Corporate Actions on trade issue and external liaison with institutional clients in Europe on trade issues across all markets.
Ability to support top tier clients with queries on all markets.
What we need from you.
Experience of working in Equities Middle Office or Equity Operations with a knowledge of the Funding business will be required for this role and an awareness of other products an advantage.
A flexible and hard-working approach is needed as the role can involve long hours, meticulous attention to detail and tight deadlines so strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and until the day’s work is complete are essential and will need to be evidenced at interview.
Working knowledge of Electronic Trade Confirmation process (Oasys Global / CTM).
Risk awareness and good attention to detail.
Good Microsoft knowledge expected including advanced Excel, with Word & PowerPoint also being useful.
Must be client focussed and highly professional in representing the firm, with exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
