1. Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data tools like Amazon SageMaker, EMR Serverless, Athena, QuickSight, and Glue for processing large datasets.
- Data Storage Fundamentals: A solid understanding of various data storage options, including Amazon S3, EBS, EFS.
- Database Design and Optimization: Proficiency in designing efficient database schemas, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
-Security and Compliance:
-Data Encryption: Knowledge of encryption mechanisms for data at rest and in transit.
-Access Control: Implementing fine-grained access controls using IAM.
-Bucket Policy: Implementing Secure S3 in combination with IAM Policy
-Compliance: Ensuring data compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
3. Software Engineering:
-Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
-Experience building AWS Apps using, AWS Step Functions, Lambda, SNS, Event Bridge
-Cloud Platforms and Services: Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and how they work together.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Scripting and Programming Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with Docker, ECR and Kubernetes. Ability to manage containerized applications.
4. Soft Skills:- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking to address complex data challenges.
Job Description
  • Designs, develops and optimizes highly complex, specialized data warehouses, with flexible and scalable data and ETL architecture, to support business users and Business Intelligence (BI) applications.
  • Analyzes business intelligence data and makes recommendations for data warehouse growth and integration for the enterprise.
  • Works with IT and business customers to develop requirements for designing the overall data warehouse architecture.
  • Provides support and technical guidance to ensure architecture and framework are aligned with BI application needs. .
  • Leads and consults on the implementation and integration of data warehouses; ensures data is current and meets organizational quality and integrity standards.
