As a Supply Chain Planner at Cognyte, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of material throughout our supply chain. This includes demand, supply & production planning, inventory management, and coordinating with suppliers to optimize costs and meet customer demands. You will play a critical role in maintaining our supply chain's reliability and responsiveness.

Demand Forecasting and Planning:

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts for product and material, taking into account business objectives and sales strategies.
  • Develop, track and update demand scenarios and customer orders material simulation to prepare for various market conditions.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the right balance between supply and demand. Aim to minimize stockouts while reducing excess inventory.
  • Establish & implement Inventory Management processes to limit excess and obsolete inventory while ensuring optimal material availability, order fulfillment & Procurement spend.

Material Supply Management:

  • Develop and maintain a Material Requirements Plan (MRP) to ensure that all necessary materials are available for production when needed.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle. Plan and execute inventory replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize obsolescence.

Production Planning:

  • Collaborate with the production team to develop and maintain the master production schedule, ensuring it aligns with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
  • Production Planning and Scheduling, Capacity Planning for production & contract manufacturing resources.

Data Analysis, Reporting & Presentation:

  • Present data in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner using graphs, charts, and other visualization tools. Maintain data dashboards and visualizations that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Regularly prepare and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency.

Collaboration:

  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships ensuring aligned material supply plans.
  • Work closely and communicate with other departments, including procurement, finance, logistics, operations and engineering, to ensure alignment and transparency across the supply chain.

For that mission you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field i.e. Supply Chain/Logistics/Business/Engineering/
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant Experience
  • A good understanding of Operational Procedures
  • Experience with Business Processes implementations
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle familiarity would be appreciated)
  • Expertise in Data Analysis & Presentation using tools like Excel and PowerPoint to create insightful and visually appealing dashboards, reports and presentations.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a high level of initiative and accountability.
  • Ability to analyze and understand Data (analyzing large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and root causes of supply chain issues)
  • Data-Driven Decision Making (interpret complex data sets and use insights to make informed decisions that optimize processes).
