You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. - Maintain a high level of system (Server/Network) reliability by prioritizing and resolving trouble tickets efficiently
- Share knowledge and help educate less technical staff on the best practices in Data Center Operations
- Contribute to, and improve on operational efficiencyAdditional role requirements
- This role may involve bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely
- 24/7 shift coverage is required and includes 12 hour rotating shifts. This may change based on the future needs of the business

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of server hardware management, network management and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Network Hardware: Copper and Optical Fiber Cabling, Switches, Routers
- Experience with storage subsystems
- Linux administration knowledge and experience.


Preferred Qualifications

- Associate's degree or higher in an IT-related field with applicable certifications or/and equivalent professional or military experience
- Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment)
- Networking experience with CCNA and/or Network+ certifications
