What you'll do...

As a Software Engineer III on the Walmart Commerce Technologies team you will have the opportunity to work on commercializing mature enterprise systems and enabling them for retailers. You will build a new SaaS product and ensure engineering excellence.


What you'll do:

  • Contribute to the full software development life cycle including requirements, design, implementation, testing and documentation.

  • Write clean, maintainable code and develop new features and components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build and improve the product.

  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior engineers on the team and promote best practices across the team.

  • Ensure software systems are reliable, scalable and high-performing while troubleshooting issues when they arise.


What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering.

  • Expertise in working with technologies such as Java, Spring, Microservices, NodeJS, SQL Databases

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Experience working with large scale systems and event driven architectures.

  • Strong communications and collaboration skills.
