Junior SAP ABAP Developer

The selected candidate will:

• Be responsible for the development of products using ABAP on Cloud and SAP BTP
• Work very closely with Product Owners, Software Developers, Designers and Domain Experts, in an Agile working model.
• Learn new technologies and trends in SAP ABAP On PREM and Cloud Development
• Collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside the team and collaborate professionally with Business Owners.

Your key responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for developing, implementing and testing complete end-to-end business products with a strong focus on quality
• Participate in development efforts towards successful product delivery.
• Collaborate with designers and domain experts. Work in a diverse team applying Scrum and agile development
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team. Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain applications built on SAP Cloud technologies.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
• Work effectively in a fast paced and changing business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are must haves to be successful in this role.

Skills and attributes for success

• Willing to learn new and innovative SAP Cloud technologies and curiosity for discovering yet unexplored areas of SAP
• Programming background and excellent technical skills in Design, coding, testing and delivery of secure, scalable, reliable, robust and performant applications.
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge in the following areas is beneficial: BTP, CPI, Cloud Foundry, SAP Gateway.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred

• 1+ years’ of experience in software development primarily in SAP technologies.

• Development skills in following areas: ABAP, OO ABAP, AMDP, Analytical Queries and SQL Script, NetWeaver Gateway, CDS Views, troubleshooting ABAP code, Cleancore , SAP S/4 HANA implementation.

• Experience in OData / Rest protocols

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong analytical capabilities and logical skills, Solution designing experience is a must.

• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.

• Good understanding of agile methodology and scrum processes.
