We continue to work on innovative Neural Processing Accelerator designs, resulting in exciting opportunities for experienced validation engineers. The Neural Processing Unit NPU Software team is responsible for delivering embedded Software and Firmware for these SoC developments and is looking for ain Gdansk, Poland

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with hardware - measure IP power efficiency in designed use case scenarios

• Research new tests and measurement methods, create reports and analysis documents

• Develop robust automation code for designed test scenarios with added power measurements data

The Opportunity:

• Work in innovative advanced AI project with various component teams located in Ireland, Romania, Poland, and US

• Work in small team of engineers conducting research, measurements and validation tasks on new generation hardware

• Experience dynamics of new technology development and opportunities to invent patents

• Grow and share experience developing in Python

• Deeply understand underlying designs in x86 architectures - learn how new laptops are built

• Opportunities to build real life use cases with LLM, CNN and other models using OpenVINO

• Opportunities to learn pre-silicon testing, HW emulation and simulation

• Opportunities to learn about product development cycles and basics of silicon manufacturing processes

• Learn validation role workflows and work in Agile project framework

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong understanding of basic computer science and technologies including AI field; 4-5 years of relevant professional working experience

• Proven experience with Python (3+ years), fluency with dataframe type, experience with libraries (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, pytest); experience with dash or flask will be an advantage

• Experience in electronics and measurements (work related or hobbyist); experience with NI DAQ equipment will be an advantage

• Ability to consume and produce technical SW/HW architecture documentation and research analysis reports with ease

• Generic daily developer's experience working with Windows and Linux OS

• Ability to communicate in English fluently both written and spoken

• Strong drive to completion mindset, passionate on solving problems and positive thinker

• Can do attitude and natural curiosity of diving deep to understand an issue

• Willing to work on-site if tasking requires physical access to hardware
