Job summary:

As a Analyst or Associate in Prime Financial Services , Global Clearing - Product Development team, you will be supporting product leads along with our business partners to deliver commercial and robust product solutions related to the Prime Financial Service book of work including, US Treasury Clearing, New Markets & Products and Risk & Margin whilst satisfying the Regulatory agenda. You will partner with Sales & Trading, Operations, Product Control, Client Service, Transition, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Technology teams. If you have a strong understanding of Clearing and Prime Brokerage fundamentals including clearing, margin, collateral management, regulatory change and trade processing, you have found the right team. You should possess the ability to absorb large amounts of information, identify issues and present resolutions to business and technology partners.

Job responsibilities:

  • Partner with a multitude of stakeholder groups in order to define the Global Clearing Data product strategy
  • Analyze data and actively seek out business and commercial opportunities, present findings and obtain senior business support and sponsorship
  • Leverage data driven methods to evaluate business processes and propose improvements and/or solutions
  • Introduce governance models and oversee cross functional design, definition & implementation of strategies
  • Align data strategies with wider Clearing business priorities and objectives
  • Prepare materials and communicate product strategy, accomplishments and goals to senior stakeholders
  • Serve as the business subject matter expert for the Clearing Data strategy
  • Keep abreast of industry developments in data driven strategy and look to introduce where appropriate

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • You are comfortable with analyzing large & complex data sets in order to identify issues and/or opportunities
  • You are able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and milestones within defined time constraints
  • You demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate oftentimes complex analysis to wide ranging stakeholder groups
  • You have ability to think strategically in supporting the design of end-to-end solutions, re-engineering business and operational processes
  • You demonstrate innovative, curious and client centric mindset, ability to thrive within a highly collaborative environment and drive to meet objectives

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
