Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pursuit strategies with Opportunity Partners and Service Line Pursuit Leaders and Pursuit Teams
- Coach pursuit teams to help bring the best out of their specific roles and collaborating together, while ensuring adherence to the pursuit process and effective client engagement.
- Lead initial deal assessments and qualifications of opportunities to support leadership decisions that also contribute to building effective win strategies
- Communicate best practices and innovative strategies to enhance pursuit outcomes.
- Connect pursuit teams with EY’s resources and capabilities to leverage strengths.
- Manage multiple pursuits simultaneously, providing tactical guidance and support.
- Collaborate with extended EY teams to enhance the pursuit process with creative activities.
- Ensure the right commercial steps and evaluations for win-win scenarios.
- Advise, coach and leverage the EY network to help strategize and implement on the most suitable commercial and pricing approaches, including pricing scenario analysis and linkage to the overall value proposition.
- Develop strategic messaging and client-facing collateral.
- Lead post-pursuit analysis and reviews to leverage successes and address improvements.
Skills and Attributes:
- Proven experience in running pursuits/sales/deal processes across the full opportunity life cycle
- Versatile approach, balancing hands-on involvement with strategic oversight.
- Experience navigating complex organizations and engaging senior stakeholders and multiple other levels of the business to bring the best of EY to each process.
- Commercial/pricing experience and knowledge of different commercial structures that are aligned to our different service offerings
- Strong questioning and idea-generation skills to benefit pursuits.
- Ability to coach and motivate large, diverse pursuit teams.
- Initiative-taking, solution-oriented, and able to make quick decisions in complex environments.
- Advanced computer and tech skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Mural.
