Key Qualifications
- Experience with the design of diffractive optical elements
- Knowledge about MEMS/semiconductor fabrication processes
- Experience with physical optics simulations (time domain, frequency domain)
- Proficiency in one or more scientific computer languages (e.g. Matlab, Mathematica, C/C++/C#, Python, etc.) for the design and modeling of optical systems
- Solid understanding of optics concepts
- Creative/analytical & critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficient verbal and written English language skills
- Design and optimization of nano-photonic structures - advantage

Involved with all phases of execution of high performance micro-optic elements, from initial concept through prototype to mass-productionSimulating optical performance over fabrication tolerancesWorking with vendors to develop and fine-tune fabrication processes Utilizing optimization techniques to obtain required optical performance Defining optical testing strategies (for prototypes and mass-production)
Education & Experience
M.Sc./PhD in Electro-Optics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering
