As our Senior Consultant you’ll be providing international transaction tax services including tax structuring, tax due diligence and tax modelling to a broad range of high-profile clients. Your key responsibilities
- Advise Australian and international financial services groups and institutional investors (e.g., banks, insurance companies, investment managers, funds such as pension funds, sovereign wealth funds) on all tax aspects of their transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, restructuring, new funds, and initial public offerings.
- Assist clients throughout the transaction life cycle, from initial due diligence to post-deal implementation, including providing buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence services, tax transaction support, tax structuring advice, and reviewing transaction documentation and tax modelling services.
- Participate in project managing transaction timetables and deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all related tasks.

- Possess specialist tax technical and legal skills, with Australian tax experience ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm, corporate, business consulting, or legal environment. Demonstrate strong business writing skills and the ability to assimilate complex and technical information into clear, succinct, and well-informed recommendations for clients.
- Develop strong and broad relationships with clients, providing a high level of client service. Manage a team effectively, delegating work to junior team members, and exhibit strong project management skills to ensure engagements run to time and budget, even within a truncated deal time-frame.
- Experience in or an interest in dealing with international tax matters and transactions is advantageous
