You as aSenior Analyst - Risk Analytics & Regulation Reportingwill be a part of the Risk Analytics & Reporting team which serves as TCCORO’s quantitative analytics function, deploying machine learning, in-depth analyses, business process re-engineering / automation, and problem solving to support executive planning, execution, and decision making. The role requires engagement with a broad range of stakeholders and SMEs to support process enhancements in line with our operational and compliance risk management frameworks.

What you will do:

  • Serve in an execution role to support the design and build out of analytics-driven solutions and reporting which enhance our stakeholders’ decision making.
  • Deliver robust risk analytics and insights leveraging machine learning and various types of data analysis (e.g., descriptive, factor, diagnostic, etc.).
  • Independently analyze large and complex datasets to support the design of analytics-driven solutions, including the development of data visualization tools and sophisticated reporting, to enhance senior decision making.
  • Automate data extraction and preprocessing tasks, perform ad hoc data analyses, and maintain complex data manipulation processes.
  • Contribute to the design, roll-out and governance of various reporting solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and contribute to the implementation of common data and data standards, common processes, and integrated technology platforms.
  • Drive analysis, prepare reports, and develop associated presentations for senior management, stakeholder discussions, and regulatory engagements.
  • Present findings and analysis in a polished manner that is easily understood by Operational Risk and business professionals at all levels.
  • Execute ad-hoc activities for the TCCORO organization, including but not limited to drafting materials for presentations to senior leadership, coordinating deliverables related to audits and examinations, and maintaining associated data for executive reporting.

Your profile:

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in Banking, Finance, or related consulting with a focus on data analysis or data science is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with experience in various programming languages and/or analytical packages (e.g., Python, R, SAS)
  • A penchant for story telling using data and visualizations to socialize findings and insights to key executives and stakeholders.
  • Demonstratable experience building data models and/or use of analytics tools/applications for more advanced use cases.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills including the ability to track deliverables, and articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging; developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and potentially convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts; capable of navigating ambiguity and problem-solving complex issues in a heavily matrixed corporate environment.
  • Highly organized and motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and a teamwork-oriented approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization within and across project teams, functions and business units.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (advanced expertise in Excel, SharePoint, Teams a plus).
  • Proficiency in Tableau preferred.
  • Degree in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, analytics, operations research, or related data science or finance / economics with relevant work experience. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications a plus.
