About the Role:
This position also partners with senior management of the Division, providing support and consultation on their functional areas of the business. This position reports to the Urology Finance Senior Manager and requires a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, as well as interaction with other divisional and regional finance groups across the organization.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the primary Finance business partner for the Sustaining R&D organization, supporting senior functional leaders through headcount planning, forecasting, reporting and financial close.
- Perform all aspects of the monthly financial close (e.g., necessary journal entries, account reconciliations, generation of monthly and quarterly reporting schedules, management reporting, variance/trend analysis).
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting packages to share with management highlighting key financial metrics vs. goals. Communicate insights into areas of interest and risk at the appropriate level of detail for the intended audience.
- Perform monthly detailed gross margin analysis to provide a deep understanding of the components driving fluctuations and continue to identify areas of opportunity.
- Perform monthly pricing analysis and prepare related reporting for decision making.
- Perform inventory accounting and quarterly EE&O reviews; serve as liaison with Global Supply Chain for inventory related issues.
- Serve as divisional representative on the Capital Equipment Technical Service (CETS) team, provide divisional inputs to reporting process, understand planning outputs and participate in reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise with the manufacturing plant network to aid divisional understanding of monthly results as well as help drive the annual standard cost improvement process.
- Support and monitor certain accounting areas performed by GBS including Sales Type Leasing accounting, Sales Return Reserve and Warranty Accrual.
- Lead EU MDR forecasting, consolidation, and reporting.
- Lead SOX 404 control testing for the Division.
- Drive continuous improvement within our financial processes to gain efficiencies.
- Support ad-hoc requests and projects when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, and business support
- Strong knowledge of tools and systems (e.g., ERP, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work well in a complex, highly matrixed global organization and simplify that matrix for reporting and analytical purposes.
- Ability to consolidate, synthesize and report on large amounts of financial data.
- Very strong financial analysis skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and act in a consultative role.
- Exceptional organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Prior experience in a medium to large company with global presence
- Prior experience using Hyperion Planning and SAP applications.
- Prior experience using a project portfolio management system (e.g., Planisware)
- Prior experience using business intelligence and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx)
- Drive and ambition to develop and grow into more senior finance roles.
