We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused Entry Level Construction Project Engineer to grow with our PMCM team. This role will prepare and improve your task management and leadership skills throughout the lifetime of a construction project.

As an Entry Level Construction Project Engineer, you will be assisting the Program team with various tasks associated with project delivery (field support, change management, document control and safety) on multiple project assignments. Ensures proper flow and timely approval of submittals, RFIs and change orders in the program management system. Reviews and approves pay applications and invoices from contractors, architects, and consultants. Reviews Change Orders for budget availability, submission of supporting documentation, and verifies compliance with contract requirements. Assists in managing budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures, and controls for assigned projects. Coordinates project meetings and ensures meeting minutes are recorded by responsible team members. Provides training and support to the project teams (both internal and external) on the usage of the program management information systems. Coordinates and tracks each project’s closeout documentation and ensures compliance.

Here's what you'll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related Engineering
  • Interest working on large Infrastructure Construction Projects
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and PMIS software
  • Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Prior Experience Working in Construction Management field is preferred
  • Experience with cost estimating, scheduling, and budget control
  • Commitment to safety and knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand Construction Plans and Specifications
