Minimum Qualifications
  • Significant management experience as a Software Quality Assurance Manager in an ML-focused environment.
  • Established pattern of building strong teams – attracting, hiring, motivating, and retaining the best engineers.
  • Solid understanding of NLP and LLM's, machine learning concepts, algorithms, and model evaluation techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex ML models and identify potential issues.
  • Persistent and inquisitive problem solver, committed to driving quality forward.
  • Proficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ideally 5+ years as a Software Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Understanding of generative AI and experience in using Gen AI for various applications
  • Proficient in Python and/or Swift or comparable languages.
  • Preferred understanding of photography, video, and in-depth knowledge of image processing algorithms and related statistical metrics.
  • Understanding of subjective/objective image and video quality evaluation, and color science concepts is a strong plus.
  • iOS and macOS familiarity.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
