As a Network Development Engineer working in AWS Networking you will have end to end ownership (architecture/design/scale) of our current and newly developing networks.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. - Lead the design of highly available ultra-scale networks, driving them from concept to launch.
- Work closely with our software developers to full automate network deployment and operations.
- Drive operational excellence projects to improve network performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Mentoring and coaching junior engineers
- Review and implement changes on the networkAbout the team

- 5 years of experience working in large scale networking environments.
- Experience with internet routing protocols and concepts.
- Experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS and Junos.
- Experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python programming.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree.
