JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Systems Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex systems and solutions for Honeywell Flight Management System. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful requirements development, integration and deployment of our systems, while meeting customer requirements and industry standards. Your expertise and technical skills will play a crucial role in driving the success of our aerospace projects and contributing to the growth of our business. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the efficiency, safety, and performance of aerospace systems, contributing to the advancement of aviation technology. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, develop, and implement complex systems and solutions for Honeywell Flight Management Systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful requirements development, integration and deployment of systems
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards
• Provide technical support and expertise to internal and external stakeholders
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in aerospace systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders WE VALUE • Master's degree in a technical discipline
• Experience with aerospace industry standards and regulations
• Knowledge of system integration and validation processes
