Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate Channel ambition to buy guidance based on Net Sales / Sell-out targets for channels
  • Generate Channel demand rolling plan, and liaise with Channel and Accounts to coordinate their demand planning activities to ensure smooth channel execution
  • Identify Buffer buy opportunities early on (e.g. what sells well, customer feedback)
  • Support and facilitate mitigation planning by Category and Channels (Accounts) for any OTB gaps
  • Provide inputs to SP milestones representing Channel and Accounts demand requirements
  • Provide omni-channel view across operating models (e.g. ReAct, FCC) and facilitate buy decision
  • Support regular reporting on Category and Channel alignment while providing robust tracking vis heatmap
  • Review inventory development of each channel against target & sell-out
  • Monitor Channel inventory development and initiate cross-channel inventory transfer
  • Establish a high-performance culture via very good communication of clear expectations and targets
  • Evaluate the performance and competencies of your employees within the MYBEST framework
  • Identify and manage and develop talents within your team, to develop their competencies and managing skill, to prepare them for new roles with adidas Group
  • Secure the adherence to all employee relevant adidas guidelines and all legal obligations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Planning function with proven track record of successfully managing planning in a large sales organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. relationship management, facilitation)
  • High personal impact and high communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven methodological skills (e.g. data analysis, trend forecasting)
  • High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge to challenge and drive consensus between Sales & Marketing
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in other language are an added plus Requisite

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of Planning or Account Management experience within large sales organisation
  • At least 5 years working in Planning or Account Management at a managerial level
  • Preferable experience in the sport or clothing industry
  • Experience successfully leading, managing and developing a team (if applicable)
  • Business degree from leading business school
