- Quality input checking:
Ensures that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule and budget) are in place prior to commencing work.
- Documentation:
Creates the Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Detailed Design Specification (DDS) under supervision, based on Honeywell template and standards.
- Execution:
Executes work assignment under supervision, at the appropriate standards and quality in order to implement Safety Integrated Systems applications and documentation, collaborate with engineers from Process Control Strategy and Human Machine Interface design team.
- Customer facing:
Participates to Kick Off Meetings with customers, conducts internal testing, participates in FAT and SAT sessions with customers.
- Site activities:
Takes part in Commissioning and start-up activities at customer site.
- Project tracking:
The engineer makes sure the scope and schedule are understood and followed.
- Solution development:
Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group.
- Team collaboration:
Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines.
- Reporting:
Reports progress and technical problems and / or changes to project lead engineer or Project Manager.
