This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
  • Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
  • Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
  • Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards

LOB Specific Job Description

Assist the migration vendor with mediating & resolving LOB scheduling escalations Ensure the vendor has adequate reporting to address: the schedule, issues tracking, project progress Attend regularly scheduled Pre-planning and post migration conference calls

  • General functions: 5 or more years’ experience in project management, with a focus on deployment/release management.
  • Communication: excellent written & verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating verbally and in writing with senior leaders & Team Mates across various lines of business.
  • Leadership: proficient in scheduling meetings to bring technical SMEs and LOB reps together to discuss scheduling or deployment concerns, as needed.
  • Vendor oversight during deployment: comfortable with working alongside of a vendor and ensuring that they execute the contract/SOW per the plan.
  • Tools: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SP) and creating/presenting Executive-friendly documents.
  • Risk ID: Proficient in identifying deployment risks and escalating when appropriate.

Most of the deployment upgrades will be scheduled on Friday evenings/nights and Saturdays; the candidate will be required from time to time to adjust work schedule to work a Friday evening or Saturday, and alternate weekend work with another team member One candidate will be asked to work an adjusted schedule to support the EMEA migrations – 6am to 3pm – would be the normal work hours for the person supporting EMEA, with the same adjustment required for weekend work noted for the other candidate
