• Acting as a Sub-Team Lead, where it is needed, managing components of a project, or small self-contained projects
• Manage relationship with stakeholders, internal and external, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues, manage expectations and stakeholder’s satisfaction on all project requirements to enable positive customer reference and success story.
• Conduct project planning activities and manage the execution of projects according to plan through the project life cycle from Initiating to Close.
• Ensure proper use of methodology, tools, procedures and governance to best meet project objectives
• Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with stakeholders to reassess and amend the scope of work, budget and timeline.
• Manage the financial aspects of the project: budgeting and estimate to actual variance.
• Analyze risk, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events for risk mitigating action.
• Escalate issues early about the project to account management or delivery management.
• Mentor project teams to ensure implementation of enterprise project management methodology, standards and processes.
• A good understanding of the project management lifecycle, SAP delivery tools and methodologies
• An understanding of the wider project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member
• Strong organizational skills with an orientation to detail and the ability to communicate proactively when help or guidance is needed
• A roficient understanding of SAP solutions and of the consulting business processes and functions.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools
• Good understanding and experience in both traditional and Agile project management methodologies
• A clear vision of what determines a successful project for the customer and for the enterprise.
• Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
• An ability to negotiate consensus amongst diverse groups even outside the reporting structure.
• Conceptual analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines; effective communication with senior management, clients, peers, and team members.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• 1-3 years of experience as a team-lead or consultant
