Commodities Production Support supports a rapidly growing business that uses technological innovation to maintain competitive advantage in a constantly evolving market. Works closely with the business, external vendors and internal technology teams, you will support, change and maintain a wide range of applications in our Trading and Risk platforms. You would manage complex problems and projects that will involve complex analysis, solution documentation, new application onboarding, etc. You will interact with a wide range of high-profile stakeholders.
Daily highlights include responsibilities to Support our Front Office Users (Trading & Sales), and Back Office (Middle Office, Operations and FINCON) users across our full suite of applications covering the full Trade Lifecyle, assist in batch efficiency and stability work-streams, engage continuous improvement review for program books of work, and intra week incident and problem management across Trade Execution, Trade Booking, Risk, Back-Office systems. Further aspects of the role mentioned under Key Responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for handling day to day BAU Support for Issues and Requests from the Global Commodities Business and associated downstream teams. Exposure to systems like OpenLink Endur (ETRM), Simpliciti (Risk/PV) and much more, covering the Full Trade Lifecycle.
Take ownership of all raised issues as well as proactively identify potential issues.
Ability to educate, inform and train new users and team members.
Strong process awareness and ability to single handedly manage incidents, changes and problems at a global level and escalate as necessary
Perform appropriate problem solving tasks and analysis prior to passing issues to the relevant next-level teams.
Ensure near 100% availability of applications and associated infrastructure, as well as defining dedicated stability measures to design, test, and accomplish a material reduction in outages
Work closely with second level support peers in Markets (RATES, EQUITES, PRIME, etc.) Development, and the Commodities Business groups to settle strategy & priorities aligning teams to meeting the organization requirements. Ensure team delivers on these priorities and communicated progress effectively to all partners.
Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support, aanswer queries via phone, real-time collaboration and communication chats, e-mail, and in person – you will have engagement with traders/desk heads and global support partners.
Carry out Problem, Incident, Change Management as per ITIL processes.

The Apps Support Tech Lead Analyst is responsible to partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identify and define necessary system enhancements; analyze existing system logic, identify problems; and recommend and implements solutions.
Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of apps support.
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact application enhancements and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards; documents requirements.
Partners with multiple technology areas and management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals.
Works closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document Systems impacts and support requirements
Considers the implications of the application of technology to the current environment.
Identifies risks, vulnerabilities and security issues; communicates impact; proposes risk
mitigation options.
Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work.
Provides in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
Persuades and influences others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills

Support Experience:
Relevant experience working in a support environment in a Trader Facing Role.
Commodities Industry experience preferred
Electronic Trading platform experience
Knowledge on IT service management and project management
Be able to demonstrate logical thinking and ability to perform detailed analysis.
Demonstrate ability to understand issues thoroughly and communicate them in a fashion that everyone can understand.
Demonstrate ability to multitask multiple issues in parallel in a time bound and pressured situation.
Basic knowledge of investment banking and finance accounting

Experience using/troubleshooting Office with emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Openlink Endur Experience
Fix Messaging
Unix, Autosys, Oracle, SQL, XML, AVS,Java,Python skills are highly desirable
Quantitative Analysis.
Familiarity with Capital Markets and Securities.
Basic understanding of Network Infra/TCP Stack.
